Hello Gormley and Kandinsky class,
With just a week left before half term, we wanted to start by saying congratulations on a wonderful half term of learning so far. From afar, we have been incredibly proud of your hard work and have so enjoyed seeing all of the wonderful pieces of work that you have produced.
For our final week before half term, we are doing something slightly different in English. We will be starting the first of two weeks of work on the exciting book by Anthony Browne, ‘The Tunnel’. While in Maths we will be learning how to measure accurately using centimetres, millimetres and metres.
Over in Science, your plant journey continues. What were the outcomes of your experiments? Try to observe (safely) some flowers with some bees on. What are they doing? How does this help the plant? We have also been seeing some fantastic mythical art work so keep sending the pictures. Also, don’t forget to look at the wellbeing and French topics too.
If you cannot print off worksheets, you will be able to complete the tasks in your exercise books or on any paper. The main thing is that you have a go!
Remember, we would like to hear from you at least once every fortnight. Please email the class email address below:
We can’t wait to see your amazing work.
Miss Cosby and Miss Evans
